This is theoretically possible, but in a practical sense is too complicated to do in a seamless and safe fashion. The manipulations in question have occurred over a period of time and given rise to a set of inner beliefs. The latter cannot simply be removed by discouraging him from continuing practices that were recommended to him as a kind of challenge. The one will not erase the other. It will tend to reinforce the inner beliefs already in place, but otherwise is more a preoccupation than something of any real destructive potential. This does disrupt his life and causes internal emotional distress. Those are the downsides, but he is not at risk of a severe worsening of things that will cause a breakdown spiraling out of control, for example. He, in fact, is managing this even though it comes at a cost. And as we indicated, this will improve with the ongoing healing efforts in any event, to lessen their severity and eventually fade entirely. So the healing needed is underway. There will just be a frustrating interval that will not show dramatic progress for some time. That cannot be helped.
