Can human lost soul spirits attach to people using an alien portal to gain entry?

This can happen on rare occasions, but is very unlikely for two reasons. First, the portals are closely guarded by onboard spirit meddlers to govern who is allowed entry, particularly when all the chakras are occupied. And second, human lost soul spirits are in a state of confusion and limited awareness and most likely have no experience with such things and cannot recognize them and any potential value they might represent.
