As a result of the abrupt turnaround in their fortunes, the Lions garnered more national attention than they have enjoyed in decades. Going into a game with the Carolina Panthers, the Lions were favored to win. A number of new LHPs were said to protect them from injury and negative spirit influence. LHPs were also said for the referees calling the game to ensure negative spirits did not influence them to make bad calls negatively impacting the Lions. The conditions for the game were brutal—freezing temperatures and a field like concrete. The Lions were blown out in a game that was never close. It was so bad the Panthers set new team records for running yards. To witness such a meltdown after they were playing so well is truly surprising and disconcerting. It can be said that, in spite of the abrupt turnaround, people still harbored expectations of something inevitably going wrong to spoil the fun. “It’s the Lions after all!” The only upside is that there were no Lions injuries and the referees’ performance was thoroughly professional and accurate. Can Creator tell us WHAT HAPPENED? Did the LHPs actually harm the Lions’ chances because guides and guardians placed player safety above winning, and therefore promoted more cautious play on the part of the Lions’ players, especially with the adverse playing conditions, helping to contribute to the meltdown? What can Creator tell us?

While the LHP work led to a series of positive benefits from changes it helped to instill in the sequence of events in this turnaround, this was still, in the final analysis, up to all the individuals involved to feel the changes, go with them, in a sense, because they liked the wind of change in feeling a more optimistic resurgence of energy and conviction that things could change for the better. By the same token, this was not a magic spell protecting them from adversity. So, in that key contest carried out under severe adverse conditions, there were things taking place that began to cause a resurgence of negativity. After all, even though there had been a fairly long interval of time for the team to get that far with a comeback after the long history of defeats, much of that past failure was a combination of things of long-standing deep in the histories, individually as well as collectively, of everyone involved with the team in question. That deep karmic history of negativity was still not entirely healed by the time of this game in question that seemed to "break the spell" with a tragic loss. So, in the end, it was still up to those individuals to stand strong no matter what, and retain the inner conviction and belief in themselves, that they could prevail, and not be undermined by anything and, sadly for them, this proved to not be the case, that a series of setbacks commenced causing things to unravel and to lose the game. They were just being human. There are many times when people and groups of individuals working in common cause are given assistance from the divine realm, but that will not carry them forever, it will perhaps get them relaunched, set forth on a new path that creates a better potential future, but they need to keep going and will need to be doing this under their own steam, using the inspiration and guidance and nudges given to them along the way by the divine, but taking those notions, offered as an option to consider, to heart, and keep up the momentum. This happens sometimes and not others, given that humans are human and continually being buffeted about in the swirl of cultural influences and the energies imparted by all involved, and this includes the vast assortment of people watching sporting events avidly, and often unwittingly contributing huge amounts of negativity through their skepticism and inner doubts. They, too, could not possibly be healed and made perfect in the interval of time since the first LHP work was set in motion to help the team. So it is naïve and simplistic to think of the LHP as a simple answer for solving a dilemma of this kind with certainty. It can be of tremendous benefit, and was in this instance, in effecting many, many positive developments that made things much better. But, as with all divine interventions, eventually things will default to human hands totally to maintain the more positive trajectory and keep it going under their own steam. We do not see this setback as meaning all is lost. This is true of everyone's life up until you make your departure, there are always choices available that will take you in a better direction, especially in the wake of a setback of some kind. What is needed is wisdom, inner resolve, and openness to divine inspiration and support, and to make consistent frequent requests for such assistance. It is unfortunate but true, that not all of the direct participants have the right perspective to create a true partnership with the divine in all they do—that would make things much more effective than having it requested to happen by a third party.
