DWQA QuestionsCategory: Extraterrestrial InterlopersAre types of shingles virus responsible for Bell’s palsy, frozen shoulder, diabetic nerve pain, colitis, vaginal burning, TMJ, Lyme disease, and even misdiagnosed multiple sclerosis?
Nicola Staff asked 4 years ago
These are all true medical travesties of misdiagnosis and misinterpretation and an inadequate understanding of virology and its central importance in much of human illness. This is not surprising because viruses, because of their submicroscopic size, are quite difficult to detect and are often elusive, sequestering themselves in hidden pockets and having a waxing and waning in number and may be quiescent for decades before erupting into a symptomatic disorder of some kind, and then may recede for a time and be completely symptomless and unobservable. Nonetheless, here again is a wide array of consequences that are significant liabilities to the sufferer and are deserving of attention by medical science, so at long last there will be a better focus on what is going on and why because this will point the way to more effective care.
