DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divine GuidanceArchangel Jophiel stated: “The issue of faith is not inherently a virtue, so to speak, it is the action taken to implement the level of vibration within the person, for if one is in harmony with Creator then there is perfection, and indeed faith has no real value or meaning. Faith is inherently a term that incorporates the possibility of disbelief, and so it is a measure of strength and not a strength in itself.” Yet, he included Hope on his list of 10 Virtues. You told us recently: “The building of faith is a virtue because it is moving in the right direction. It is moving towards a greater partnership with the divine and that is essential to the success of everything that is of any value. Hope is a lesser virtue in the sense of it having a weak connotation, and this is quite true.” How do we reconcile these differing perspectives?

Indeed, they are differing but only differed in time and setting and perspective of the moment. The key factor here is expressing divinity. The belief in Creator is not top priority, so those things affecting belief in Creator have less urgency. They are important to be sure, especially if one wants divine help, but if one is doing fine on one’s own and is a nonbeliever, that will continue until the person stumbles in some way, should that happen. But they may be leading a quite virtuous life in the absence of any faith in God, or belief for that matter, and that is allowable. So there is a difference in what one might tell the faithful who may be deeply religious and pride themselves on their faith and are steeped in biblical doctrine or other individuals with stern indoctrination about honoring the Almighty, so to doubt or disbelieve is blasphemous and will incur God’s wrath and punishment. So to upset those notions, in our view, is a battle not worth waging at this point in history with so many issues at stake and the need for so many believers to assist with the broad healing needed to keep humanity going. Everything that has been said by the two of us is true from a particular vantage point. So faith is indeed a weak description of belief, but belief can be weak as well, depending on its intensity and totality of completeness—so it is also an imprecise term. There is virtue in hope as a bridge to possibility and that is true and worth including from that standpoint. It may be the best one can do, and the mentioning allows this discussion, and that is not a bad thing. Faith is worth including from the standpoint it is present in so much religious doctrine. To exclude it when in fact belief in the divine is set out as an important goal in doing prayer work in order to cultivate the requisites for receiving divine help, it deserves mention simply for greater encouragement for it to be cultivated and strengthened. If one does not put this on a list of goals, it may remain a deficiency that causes an impairment of outcome. So you are learning from this to think as you go and that is the point of the exercise—to not simply copy and paste things with little thought. It is important to look at the details carefully and reconcile things. This is true of all channeled information, that it consists of a source, a requester, and the context of the individual development and awareness as well as level of belief, all of which can vary through time and will be variables in the equation as to what comes forth and in what form and what level of detail. So this is a further learning opportunity for you to derive benefit and the discussion in sorting through these nuances will be helpful to your followers as well.
