This is an excellent choice because it is more greatly bioavailable than many offerings of iodine, because their formulations do not take into account the degree of absorption that is achieved, and that is an all too common dilemma for supplements as it is true for drug agents. Attention to detail is what is needed, and that is not as common in the supplement industry as in the pharmaceutical industry who are scientifically well-versed in this variable and are more typically doing clinical evaluations where the achievable blood levels will be measured to verify effective drug delivery. This is not usually done for supplements and leads to shortfalls for many products that contain desirable ingredients but do not deliver them to the cells of the body in high enough levels to be of value. So this is an excellent choice to address the iodine insufficiency which is commonplace in today's world.
