DWQA QuestionsCategory: Channeling PitfallsA viewer, inspired by the Conversations with God, has begun channeling his own “conversations with God and with others off-planet.” He wants to have a dialog with us. What can we tell him about his channeling efforts and their implications? What guidance can we give to such channelers to help them from being misled or worse?

This is a painful duty, but duty comes to those who wish to be a leader so it cannot be avoided just as in your coming to us with very sensitive and painful questions and concerns and we have a karmic obligation to be forthright when asked directly about truth of things. You are in the same position when someone like this reaches out to you. There is a divine responsibility to help anyone who is in trouble whether they realize it or not. There are many, many people being misled and misguided in various ways with spiritual endeavors, or presumed spiritual endeavors, and this is true of almost all channelers, unfortunately. These communications were started without a strong defense and a strong intention and belief in the ability to connect to the Almighty, and once a connection was made to a lesser being, it happily served as an imposter and was directly intending to carry on the charade and mislead this individual from here on out. There are many they monitor and shepherd in this way to keep them satisfied with low-level information of limited value, mostly vague descriptions of things and a general encouragement, and that is usually enough without a very direct and serious questioning to satisfy the channeler. They are being told what is allowable. In actuality, they are getting filtered information intended to mollify, but also mislead because there will not be an intention to be of true assistance, nor would they have the wherewithal to do so in most cases because they themselves are corrupt and misguided in their thinking and really hold no true answers for deep human needs other than to stop their own interference and manipulations, but they will be unwilling to do that. Every channeler needs to search their heart and ask from their heart to be blocked from connecting to a false source and see what happens. Free will being what it is, if they really wish to connect to their favorite channeled source, the divine must let them do so. So this requires discipline, a deep level of honesty, and a strong-willed attempt to be objective no matter what might happen with respect to hearing bad news. Not all channelers will be willing to put their reputations, and in fact in some cases their livelihood, on the line to have it negated as a lifework. Once individuals have spent considerable time and effort cultivating their relationship with whomever they believe they are channeling, they will also have been heavily mind control manipulated to accept the veracity of that ongoing dialogue, and in fact will be warned to disregard a naysayer like yourself coming forward late in the game to cast aspersions on their efforts. It will not only be a personal affront and a deep emotional wounding, they will see it as sinister in the extreme and likely view you as an agent of the darkness wanting to thwart their lofty efforts at bringing forth higher wisdom. You know this all too well with all the work and difficulty you have experienced to establish your connections and validate the communications with great care. That is what it takes—to be scrupulous. The best one can do in dealing with would-be channelers is to establish a set of criteria to evaluate the quality of the work being generated. This too is highly subjective and will be true of an authentic divine figure channeling, that what is being told in answer to questions will be quite dependent on who is asking, their level of knowledge and awareness, and the depth of the question itself and its component parts and the intention behind the question. If simplistic questions and notions are explored, the channeled information will be correspondingly limited in scope and impressiveness, but may be nonetheless authentic. The ability to discern something being illogical is the wild card here. Not all channelers will have the discernment to analyze carefully the implications of the channeled information and whether it truly makes sense and is worthy of their belief, or whether there is something strange or improbable about the information itself as being consistent with a divine origin. A deeper test is in probing what might be needed to deal with serious issues and problems to see what is recommended, whether it is a human level answer, a recommendation to embrace a technological approach rather than a spiritual one, and whether the overall tone, meaning, and potential consequences of the recommendation are perceived to be in divine alignment. This gets to the heart of the issue given that the divine teachings are by and large ancient and somewhat confusing because of the heavy editing they were subjected to and the incompleteness of descriptions and many subjects not being explored directly at all. So there is no body of knowledge you can use as a gold standard to make such judgments. Each individual will have to reckon with their life choices and the consequences of their actions. All you can do is to caution them based on all you know about the high likelihood they are being duped and discuss some of the signs, and perhaps with some examples, but we understand here too you will have a problem if you name names, for many such individuals who are following a cherished channeler as their role model will immediately reject anything you say. So each case will be unique and you will not know the ideal strategy for each that has the greatest chance of being listened to and considered carefully. The best you can do is make a heartfelt reply to caution them with all you know about the pitfalls of channeling, the high likelihood they have been corrupted, and that they will have to sort this out for themselves if they wish to be in alignment and not be misleading people and causing trouble for them and for themselves as well. There will be a karmic penalty for all the channelers who mislead others unwittingly. What you do with your energy is your responsibility and no one else’s. Those who are being deceived do have partners in crime, so to speak, and those extraterrestrials misleading the so-called spiritual community will pay a heavy karmic price for what they are doing, but that will not help people in the moment in getting good information that can be relied on as helpful. But it is important to sound the alarm even when answering a personal interchange and you know the answer will hurt someone in particular who has come to you with excitement and high hopes, but that cannot be helped. All humans are victims of this enterprise and its many parts, activities, and consequences.
