It is a good idea, in general, to be sure of adequate daily vitamin D intake. So as a precaution, to take a supplement or arrange dietary intake of natural vitamin D containing foods is simply sound management of the body and would certainly work in a person’s best interest for disease prevention. It is not a guarantee but can make the difference in whether an infection takes place and the severity of symptoms endured particularly in the case of those who have a natural vitamin D deficit.
