This is a plausible general outline, but the details are somewhat faulty here in assigning the players and the energies involved. The dilemma is really about the lack of compassion, the inability to feel love. That is a consequence of turning away from love and light, which is the history of the fallen. They did so in response to the need of the ego for greater power and wish to have more than they were able to enjoy with their current existence. In doing so, by leaving the divine path for greater personal reward, they began to disconnect themselves from the flow of Creator’s love. That love deficit they created themselves through their actions, reduced their ability to feel compassion for others.
At the same time, they were wanting greater power and the lack of ability to love was essentially complicit in allowing them to take from others without great concern and remorse because of their disconnection. This further deviated from the divine path and more was lost in that divine connection to love. This is a cycle of diminishment, and when severe enough becomes truly the province of the sociopath, devoid of conscience altogether and only serving the self with no reservations about taking things from others and harming them—even killing if it benefits the self. That is the ultimate depravity you are speaking of and is on the spectrum of disconnection, so it is not a problem of thought per se, it is a separation from love energy bestowed from Creator that is a part of the life force you speak of. So, to that extent, it is an exercise in energy deployment that is at play.
Life force energy is a basic housekeeping functionality. It will not be perceived as love although it is a form of love. The love feelings come from a special love energy that is in the mix if people allow the energy to come in. The disconnection we are describing is, in effect, a kind of filter that filters out love to a greater and greater degree and leaves the person bereft of love feelings to the extent they cannot feel love, they cannot share love, and give love. They are not receiving new love energy themselves so they do not notice the deficit because it does not occur to them to be loving and is no longer in their nature.
That is the state of the fallen angelics. It is a quite severe and total absence of love from their being. In addition to which, all life force energy is denied them coming directly from Creator. They only survive by stealing energy from living humans as a parasite. This service to the ego is a hollow reward because it ultimately becomes a threat to existence altogether. When one is not living through love, for love, and by love, one is living in a non-divine way. That will take a toll. The length of time of such involvement will increase the separation and a consequential decline in the life experience, and that is a slippery slope indeed and has been the downfall of these once-angelic beings who are no longer angelic. The divine human can become non-divine following the same path. It has been followed by the extraterrestrials in your midst, so this is a cautionary tale about the dangers of overthinking done without feeling.
