As you saw intuitively, this is a re-echoing of prior viral infections when you had swollen glands in the neck. So it is a combination of karmic reawakening and cellular memory chiming in and stirring up a re-creation of the painful feelings when there was acute swelling. So now you have pain without the swelling, courtesy of trauma memories being a force to reckon with. But this is a part of the ongoing clearing work, as we continue to chip away at the vestiges of the numerous encounters and long-term chronic presence of viral infections in your body. This will pay off wonderfully for you down the road, when it is all behind you.
