A viewer asks: “The Detroit Lions have won only one playoff game victory since 1957. Everybody who follows this team with any interest has seriously entertained the idea that this team is actually “cursed.” The towering example of that was the 1991 football season. They appeared to have everything needed for a Super Bowl run. Future hall of fame running back, Barry Sanders, and skill players in all the important positions. Two critical players were very talented offensive linemen, Mike Utley and Eric Andolsek. Utley was injured and paralyzed for life in November of 1991. Without him, Lions missed the Super Bowl that year. In the offseason, Eric Andolsek was struck and killed while mowing his front lawn by a semi-trailer truck that went off the road. The driver had taken his eyes off the road. Suddenly the Lions were missing two key, proven players needed for any thought of Super Bowl run. They never effectively replaced the tandem, and Barry Sanders never enjoyed the protection he really needed. What were the hidden forces behind these two tragedies? How much was personal karma and spirit attachments to the two linemen, and how much were they the victims of larger aggregate negative influences afflicting the entire team, it’s hometown, and its history?”

This is an interesting experiment in collective consciousness. When one is a member of a team with nationwide visibility as a player for the NFL, the players will become targets of the collective consciousness of all observing them, thinking about the team, its individual members, and the outcomes of each and every outing. Once a losing streak commences, the anguish will grow and reach considerable proportions. The power of that negativity to influence those involved, both the players and management and the coaches on the field guiding and strategizing and directly responsible for calling the plays and reacting to events, are under tremendous pressure to perform. This will also impinge on their personal difficulties and will be recognized by the deep subconscious and the stress that is building to look for answers in parallel events in the akashic records of their history in other lifetimes. Those players who were in positions of heightened scrutiny and a collective judgment on the part of others holding some power over them, and the fate that befell them in reaction to their conduct and overall effectiveness in some role they were expected to carry out successfully, will be greatly influenced and this may stir up old hurts, old disappointments, old failings, and the emotions that accompanied them, including great tragedies where tremendous expectations and lofty notions were dashed along with hopes by illness or accident, or simply nonperformance, in some respect, causing them to be cast down and expelled from further involvement, or even punished severely up to and including death in some settings of the type seen with gladiators, with jousting matches, or dueling. There have been such events all through human history orchestrated to happen because it puts maximum pressure on all the individuals and leads to a kind of collective angst from the build-up of fear in the young males seeing what they eventually will be forced to take part in and may be dreading doing so, especially if they lack the physique and reflexes of the better athletes, they will see this and can envision tragedy looming. Lifetimes spent this way will be a karmic set up to be vulnerable to fear of failure in any new lifetime. Karma works the opposite as one would think. It would seem such experiences would drive a person to avoid such contests at all cost, but the opposite is the case, they will in fact be drawn to such endeavors much like a moth to a flame by the forces of karma seeking a leveling of the prior discord, whether inflicted on them or on themselves, when they may have failed because of an accumulation of anxiety and were distracted and undermined themselves at a critical juncture causing their downfall. Whatever the cause, having this in their energy sets them up to be vulnerable and in a new life as an athlete at the highest levels where performance of excellence is required to even participate, there are extremes of performance and skill on display quite routinely and the players will all vary in their ability to match the ultimate heights of brilliant athleticism. They will have good days and bad days and must weather these irregularities and take them in stride in order to not become disheartened and lose confidence. That will also depend on how resilient they are in coming back from the slings and arrows of fortune day-to-day and meeting the next challenge expecting victory despite recent losses. It is the strong who can do so, who are not bogged down by fears of repeating failures from prior lifetimes as well as in the current life. All humans have had multiple lifetimes, except in a few rare circumstances, so karmic patterns get going routinely because life has many challenges and prior lives were often much harsher and more unforgiving than the current culture presents to its citizens. So, in the cases you speak of, these two players each in their own way were, in a sense, an accident waiting to happen because they were thrust into a violent arena with inner fears of catastrophe and this created an energetic signature calling forth something to befall them in the way of an impediment, a downfall, a lessening of capability in some respect, either physical injury or an accidental manipulation leaving them impaired in some way. The respective outcomes were unsurprising given the potential of karma to deal a harsh blow when prior karmic patterns collide with a current life of great stress and physical challenge when so many are watching and depending on their performance and the outcome overall to which they must contribute at a very high performance level. This is asking a lot of anyone and will often meet with failure unexpectedly and if this is frequently due to prior karmic failings for which they are paying a further price because what is needed to happen is a full and complete healing for all that has happened. This rarely takes place because people are not taught about karma and the need for personal attention to their karmic liabilities to request divine help for healing. This would be a superb addition to the preparation of all sports teams, to have their members receive regular healing sessions for karmic repair as well as all of the other sources of negativity the Lightworker Healing Protocol is designed to remove. So each of these players received a comeuppance, each in a different way, but were effectively taken out of the action and this was an exact karmic recapitulation of prior losses they experienced in other lifetimes.
