Unfortunately, this is disinformation. The Sun in the sky is the same Sun as has been present since before humanity came to the Earth. The Sun has been altered but not replaced by a simulator. This information is in the GetWisdom Database, that the Sun was corrupted to shorten its lifespan so that it will only last another 3500 years and there will be some anomalies prior to it collapsing into a brown dwarf.
