Your intuition is correct here. We have described this as a karmic malady, meaning that it happens as a consequence of trauma, but have not had deep discussions as yet with you about the types of wounding that create this karmic dilemma. It is certainly unnatural to have a sexual preference that differs from one's biology as this is a significant complication in things with finding a suitable life partner and then secondarily, finding social acceptance by people who will not understand the situation and know how to react, and may feel uncomfortable within themselves because of buried inner conflicts that will be triggered by encountering someone displaying those traits. And, of course, there is the overlay of religious fundamentalists hewing to the tradition in the Scriptures admonishing against homosexual conduct. That is a corruption and non-divine in and of itself, but the damage is done for those inculcated with the beliefs and who now believe they are championing the cause of the divine to condemn individuals with a gender dysphoria.
This further complicates the entire quandary about getting a meeting of the minds and a useful approach to helping those who struggle with these issues. After all, it is the young person who suffers from the confusion and must find a way to understand and accommodate to what is inherently a misalignment of things and, in that sense, clearly an abnormality despite the rhetoric prevailing at the moment by the LGBTQ community wanting an idealized world and championing their differences as something to take pride in. This is a coping mechanism and we would say an overcompensation that will have unfavorable consequences of its own and already has. But theoretical niceties and ideal perspectives are seldom on display in the real world of troubled humans and we have advised you to pick your battles on this topic before, as rushing in to offer healing will cause many to take offense when they see this as perfectly natural and acceptable because it feels that way to them, having had no specific conscious awareness of anything being wrong. They are simply who they are and it is the fact it is not matching the norm, statistically speaking, that is the perceived problem and that designation is coming from others.
To have an extraterrestrial origin on top of the difficulty with the past history and the emotional reaction on the subject by those who are affected directly, makes this a doubly loaded circumstance and again would caution you to tread lightly here because people once again will see any mention of this origin as not only bizarre, but an attack once again on their existence and done in a way that is demeaning and degrading because the sensitivity is to being seen as defective and unfortunately, that was the goal of the interlopers in causing these difficulties—it is to create doubt, divisiveness, and difficulties always in their manipulations.
