DWQA QuestionsCategory: Extraterrestrial Corruption of Human InstitutionsA viewer asks: “Is corn safe to eat? There’s a lot of negativity about it out there including those who say it’s bad to eat foods with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).” What can Creator tell us?
Nicola Staff asked 3 months ago
This is a real issue and concern, unfortunately, because of the widespread use of GMO technology for the corn crop, particularly as it was among the first to be subjected to this engineering and introduction of an alteration that persists genetically. With the widespread government support for the agribusiness community, which has been manipulated to promote increased use of GMO alterations, it is increasingly difficult to find seed corn not already containing such genetic manipulation and, as a consumer, impossible to be sure of the origin and freedom from liability despite frequent labeling to the contrary. There are many false claims for food as being GMO-free. The problems this will cause are long-term in nature, but we can give a solid warning here that too much ingestion of crops subjected to GMO manipulation will shorten the lifespan, so it is wise to resist use of this technology and support regulations for prevention.
