We cannot lead too forcefully and that includes the giving of death dates. In effect, it may become a death sentence from on high, and that has the power to create many new problems of their own. We always encourage people to do the best they can to keep going no matter what is taking place in their lives. One of the reasons for this is any healing done along the way will help not only the current life but all of the future of that individual, so to stop making an effort to solve a problem may condemn the person to have that problem carry over into a future life no matter where they might be. Even if recovery is not achieved from a human perspective, because the symptoms are the last things to change with divine healing, there might well be considerable progress prior to the eventual transition of the person which is enough to prevent a future reoccurrence of difficulty. So we do not discourage making the attempt to overcome any problem no matter how formidable it seems. There will always be something gained. The benefits may well be less if we begin to make pronouncements suggesting there will be ultimate failure in what the client most wants to see, which is an easing of symptoms and their disappearance so there is a restoration, in effect, allowing a normal life.
