I thought it might be birds flying very high but they seemed to shimmer at times and were flying perfectly spaced the entire time and very smoothly. Were these extraterrestrial craft or just some regular objects?”

The objective is to have a large percentage of people experiencing such encounters so that when they decide to come forth, most people will have a personal experience they recall and will find it reassuring that they have already had an encounter of some sort that was not dangerous, and this will help convince the general populace that the extraterrestrials are, indeed, a benign influence and a potential source of great assistance, as they will claim. This is all a subterfuge; it is the offering of a kind of gift that is a Trojan horse and will be the undoing of humanity if people are duped.
