We would not recommend this and the reason is there is no need to have an additional trace source of copper in the diet of most individuals and there can be toxic consequences from too great an exposure. So we would not recommend this. It is not it is so dangerous, it is that it will not be of benefit, and so any effects will only be negative and not positive and we would recommend discouraging any adherence to this idea because there are circumstances when things could get out of hand and lead to excesses of exposure.
