A viewer asks: “I saw a video about a woman that had a deformed arm and she went to a congregation to seek healing. The preacher and the people prayed for her healing, and her arm transformed to normal while they were performing the healing on camera. Like, a miracle before your eyes type of thing. Can humans actually perform this kind of healing and if so, what is needed on the human side to make this happen?”

Indeed, this type of profound transformation can be done through the divine realm. The requirement is an extremely high belief quotient on the part of all involved, and a very strong intention for it to be brought about. One of the reasons this is so difficult is that it must be done in a way that has a minimal impact on free will, so in the presence of skeptics and nonbelievers it will be unlikely to happen. It will also not happen if done with too great a presence in front of nonbelievers, even subsequently. So to have something done live and thoroughly documented on camera, and perhaps with other scientific instruments recording things, to create a documentation of a miraculous transformation that could be widely circulated again and again as an example of divine power, would be unlikely to happen. Something that is done more locally, with less convincing a record so it would devolve mostly to anecdotal reporting would favor such an outcome, to create a true miracle. The more hurdles put in the way, to create something powerfully convincing of the divinity behind the healing, the less likely it can be done, in keeping with our rules of engagement to honor all free will including the naysayers and atheists among you.
