DWQA QuestionsCategory: Healing ModalitiesA viewer asks: “I have been invited to a ‘sound bath’ which will also offer ‘blue lotus flower’ as part of the session. I anticipate this will be given in the form of ‘tea.’ (I do not smoke, so will not ingest it this way). We will drink the tea, do a shamanic journey and then enjoy the sound bath. As always, I will apply Divine ultimate protection before any meditation or connection but wanted Creator’s perspective on using ‘blue lotus flower’ – I have also been using ‘ceremonial cacao’ as part of my own personal routines for some time – again, always applying protection before consumption and meditation and am curious about the use of both these things.” What is Creator’s perspective?

We have said a number of times that ritual has its place. It is never the be-all and end-all to carry out a ritual no matter what the origin or stated purpose, although such activities are a kind of adjunct to help shape intentions and give meaning to things and that is helpful in focusing consciousness most effectively for creating plans and opening up to possibilities through allowing change to happen. There is no harm in the ingestion of either of these substances and their component parts, so this is something we leave to you, to choose whether to experience, and then evaluate whether a useful change has occurred. We have also said many times that meditation is largely an empty exercise unless it is given a truly spiritual focus, and by that we mean involvement with the divine realm directly, and not a solitary exercise of tuning inward or tuning into the cosmos in an open-ended way that is more likely to be a prescription for attracting dark spirits and extraterrestrials psychics. They will see your consciousness beaming forth and will move swiftly to engage and attempt a manipulation. So your awareness of potential hazards is serving you because you can, indeed, keep yourself safe under such circumstances as you describe. The other question is whether those leading the exercise are offering anything in the way of fostering a connection to divine wisdom or something that is strictly on a human level and unlikely to be greatly meaningful.
