A viewer asks: “I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and when I die, I will be in heaven with him for eternity. If I have to keep coming back and living other lives and paying my karmic debts, why then did Jesus die?”

Human life is not the be-all and end-all of existence. It is a starting point for a new initiative, a new way of living and expressing the being with challenges peculiar to the physical realm. This is why you are here—you and your compatriots. You are here to learn the challenges of negativity and how to surmount them and grow and strengthen with the doing, so that one day you will be invulnerable to temptation and the aims of evildoers who might confront you and seek to gain an advantage. That will no longer be possible because you will understand their game and will not accept a diminishment because you are standing strong and standing with the divine and will be shielded from harm. That takes some doing. Many fall by the wayside because the challenge is too great. They will return again, as you have many times, to heal the old wounds at the risk of gaining new ones and this does happen as you have seen in your current life. There can be many times of sadness and disappointment, but the silver lining is, it will further add to your experience of enrichment by truly understanding suffering and the need for love as an antidote, and with it a learning of how to bring that about so that you will become quite expert at calling on love to solve any dilemma. When you truly understand the workings of love and the enlistment of divine compassion, you will be a superb metaphysician to bring healing for others in powerful ways that can right any wrong and solve any problem. Few humans are anywhere close to this goal, but that is temporary. Everyone is in learning mode and cannot be expected to have all the answers, and all are far from perfect in what they do with their lives, having many limitations and many areas of ignorance about how everything works. Jesus Christ came to the Earth to be a physical human for a time, but was on a divine mission not to learn lessons, but to teach lessons to others—that is the difference. His role and his destiny was not simply to learn alongside other humans, but to teach and remind them of the need for love and the power love represents to bring healing and be an ultimate answer for evil in the world. His example was meant to teach others about the wisdom of living a life in divine alignment, to follow divine principles, and make one’s way without harming others, but only uplifting them and thereby uplifting oneself. This was an example, not to be something superhuman, unattainable by mere mortals, but a reminder that all are divine and capable of expressing divinity. This is why he actively recruited a following and taught others how to live and how to spread love and to do healing work. So his path and your path are different because you are different beings and you have different roles to play. Having been a divine inspiration and a divine figure in being allowed to perform many miracles and gain a tremendous following that lives on to the current day, he has many duties and obligations from within the light to assist the many people in the living looking to him with reverence and with many entreaties to get help and assistance with their lives. This keeps him extremely busy in helping the many who turn to him automatically because they have learned about his example and have built considerable faith that his message was true, and they want an association and a relationship in some way or another to be raised up, to gain greater wisdom and acceptance by this divine being for taking his message to heart, and doing the best they can to shape their life accordingly, and are seeking validation again and again through their prayers. So Jesus Christ has a role to play much greater from within the light than he could do as a physical human through reincarnation to enter the fray once again and start from scratch to become recognized, and prove himself to be exceptional, and revisit his old role but in a new setting. He has been there and done that in the past and, far from resting on his laurels, is kept quite busy shepherding his flock and that will continue for a long time to come. He has made his mark and his karma is the obligation to be there for his followers and support them. You have a separate purpose and a separate mission. You can be a help for many, but to fully express your soul you must deal with life’s difficulties at times and that becomes a higher priority that is mandated through necessity to cope with challenges getting in your way, for example, if there are life circumstances that become intolerable or a physical illness that takes you out of action. In your case, your struggles with your makeup are putting you at odds with the culture and with your own mother. That is plenty to contend with for one lifetime, so that needs to be the priority now. It can only be healed while you are here in the physical as an incarnated being, and it will help you in the future to have worked through the difficulty it represents to bring things back into balance and this will create a much brighter future for what lies ahead. There is more work for you to do along with the many other humans who are here. You have an important role to play but need to help yourself first so you can be back on track and feeling comfortable about life once again. This is not an impossible goal. You are gaining ground and making progress and there is healing going on for you behind the scenes as well. You simply have a different path. By taking care of your own challenges, you will be learning many valuable lessons and this will help you be in service to others who you will be able to help, because you have worked through similar difficulties yourself personally and can speak to how it is accomplished with authority. This will be a major blessing for those you encounter. You do not see this yet, but that day will come. At that point, you will be standing strong and will be a tremendous help and advantage to those seeking you out because you will be strong, you will be wise, and you will be loving and will help others avoid the difficulties you have had to face—that will not only help many, it will help raise you up as well, because all acts of love are a blessing and are rewarded in kind. You have a beautiful future you cannot see yet, but you are moving towards it. Now is not the time to despair because things will only continue to get better from here. Everything is in place to bring this about, and that is the important goal you need to meet with the current life, and the healing you will gain will serve you for all of time.
