The event of The Last Supper of Christ and His Disciples were a powerful experiencing and witnessing of a divine plan in action. The breaking of bread and taking sustenance, as a symbolic act of alignment with, and integration with the divine, was meant to be a powerful setting of intention to be at one with God. As such, it stands today as a meaningful ritual of dedication and a passionate commitment to that same lofty goal of Communion with the Divine. It was described at the time in more prosaic terms understandable to the people of the day, and that tradition has been maintained through formalization by the church to retain the ritual of Communion as a symbolic representation of unification. It is literally the truth that, as physical humans, you are separate from us and there are great risks to all in getting out of divine alignment and slipping further and further away through a lowering of your vibration as a consequence of experiencing negativity. The path back cannot be done through ritual alone, but rituals have a place as a touchstone, a reminder, and an incentive to renew one's dedication to lofty goals, and that is a useful practice given the rules of engagement that the divine cannot lead you but only inspire and make offerings of insight for you to choose your path. That is both a test of you and a challenge in the way of your soul's development. There is nothing to fear about these teachings. The commitment of Jesus Christ to the spread of divine love is the agenda, and that is only a joy and a benefit to all who embrace it.
