In a broad sense, this is true but this is still only the most superficial and surface description of the interrelationship of energy and time, so it will not take you very far in a furtherance of understanding in how time travel is conducted, for example. There is a time consequence of all energy. That is built into the fabric of the universe and so there is an interdependence as well. This is why the travel through time by energy can be conducted, it is because the two are intertwined and one can be used to manipulate the other. So, in a sense, it is whether to have something represented as energy or as time. It is, in a sense, a transmutation from one to the other that allows seeming matter to be in one location one moment, and then in another location in another moment. The energy transmutes into time, and travels as time, to be transmuted back into energy. It is, in a sense, using time as a medium for transport in the same fashion that one can travel by land, sea, or air utilizing various rules of navigation and technological manipulations to move packets of energy from one place to another. So rather than travel by air or on the water, one can travel through time if one knows how. Time is in motion so it is a natural carrier for energy of the right kind. What is needed is a transmutation of energies to be compatible with the flowing of time and being able to move in and out of time at a desired point to start and stop the journey.
