While science has its theories, it is most often the case that one will be seen as "most plausible" but that does not mean it is true, only the one best fitting available data. We can tell you that oil is not fossil fuel. That is a well-entrenched belief that was a plausible conjecture scientifically, but an untrue one. In actuality, oil was divinely created just like everything in the physical environment around you and, like all creations, that can be done any time by us should it be needed by humanity. There is no reason to fear running out of oil and having a world without enough energy because those oil reserves can be augmented indefinitely at human request.
