This is very much the case. The first order of business is to get their attention and remind them there is a wider array of possibilities than they can conceive of in their current mode of thinking. There are many ways used by the divine realm to convey the importance of this self‑improvement. The surest way to do so is to explain their personal sufferings and give them a sense of the power love holds. The psychopath always seeks power because of the sense of self‑preservation that is always still present and in the absence of being able to feel love for anyone, will turn to more prosaic pursuits and demonstrations of their apparent worth and this will end up being the expression of power.
So the re-education process must begin at an intellectual level but appeals are made to their desire for more, in the form of power, to give them an incentive to relearn about love and that is the way to healing. Love is the healer because love is the answer for everything out of alignment and in particular the plight of the psychopath, but it must be felt by them and not only by a caring divine figure seeking their betterment. So this is a stepwise process of re-acclimation, a reworking, and a reopening of pathways to begin sensing once again that love has many attributes and many desirable consequences and this the psychopath can eventually begin to experience using a motivation for something more as a way to reopen the gateway energetically to allow love to come in. Once love can be experienced, to any degree, it will rekindle inner desire and a thirst for more and then this troubled being will be on their way to full healing.
