We do not see tomatoes as any particular danger. As with the wide array of foods in general, there are many individuals who find certain foods disagreeable and may have trouble tolerating them in the diet because of individual makeup in their system as well as karmic history that might play out with the development of a food sensitivity. Such things are often attributed to harmful chemical makeup in the food in question when it is simply an energetic association, based in the akashic records, triggering cellular memory of a prior lifetime of a negative association with the particular foodstuff and its constituents. So this is a very complex question when it comes down to extreme cases where it might matter. There is a long history of disparagement of the tomato which for centuries was condemned falsely, as being poisonous to humans. This is part of the karmic history as well and can be picked up and propagated anew.
