Carl Jung was a deeply insightful and intuitive thinker and it was his insight about the collective unconscious that awakened many to the reality of such sources of influence. There, indeed, is a collective unconscious of human thought and it is a source of learning, knowledge, and influence, for better or worse, again and again and again. Many artists and writers in their musings tap into the collective unconscious for inspiration. This is true for scientific researchers as well. When human traits and needs are personified as godlike, that is an inner knowing there is a level of power above that of human to which humanity is subjected and can influence human destiny. So, far from being a psychodynamic characteristic of human psychology, it is an actual reality there is an Extraterrestrial Alliance of overseers with power and control over you and human events, running things from behind the scenes and manipulating most of what happens, directly or indirectly, through mind control. So this picture you paint that has been perceived and tuned into again and again by many thinkers and creative scholars, happens because they are seeing the outlines of this power hierarchy and its complexity, having many voices and instruments of its being enacted, both human and nonhuman. So rather than it being a representation of a useful indicator of the basic psychological makeup of humans, it is more the revealing of a corruption of influence by the interlopers, and if understood in that light, would help awaken people to a clearer view of reality.
