Both of these choices have an attractive benefit in being clean sources of energy compared to the burning of fossil fuels. There are still many complications in the technologies required to accumulate and store power from sources that weakly disperse energy over large surface areas of the world, so there is a problem of acquisition and accumulation, both. By and large, the technologies have proven of value only when dispersed in large aggregate units like wind-farms in the case of capitalizing on wind movement. This is true also of ocean currents as a source of generating power. They are an ongoing tremendous source of energy in a potential form, the trick is to do it on a large enough scale to capture and then concentrate it in a way that can be called upon as needed. So these have multiple steps involved in the production and dissemination that are still quite challenging for human ingenuity to configure a reasonable scheme at a reasonable cost. In appropriate locations, for example where there is little or no cloud cover and sunshine predominates, solar energy is easy to capture on a continual basis, but in many areas of the country this is not so, and the large investment in massive solar arrays which are necessary at present to accumulate enough energy for large numbers of customers simply is impractical because the energy influx is too intermittent or attenuated by the weather confounding things.
The same is true with wind power, that some areas of the world are too variable with respect to wind currents to be a reliable and economic source of power capture and accumulation. This means, automatically, that these options are doomed to modest or limited use because of the practical constraints. If the issue of power storage and distribution could be remedied, it would be more practical to produce energy in one area and then transmit it to another. But even there, costs would be high because of the need for infrastructure to make the power portable. At present, battery storage is costly and has limits in scalability and portability as well. So the ultimate answer for clean energy will come from better understanding of physics, as has been worked through by pioneers like Nikola Tesla in devising approaches to obtain energy from the quantum field directly, and to distribute it in an efficient manner at low cost. All those potentials are feasible to do and simply require tapping into prior human ingenuity. The answers are available to all within the collective unconscious repository of human thought.
This is true of all ideas, that the genie cannot be put back in the bottle, so to speak, that once something is in creation even as an idea it is discoverable much more readily by others who are tuning into the same issue and looking for an answer. As you know, the reason that free energy is not already adopted and in widespread use for the tremendous betterment of humanity is the deliberate suppression to prevent such a dramatic gain for human culture, as this would solve many, many, problems of not only allowing inexpensive power to be generated but enabling many projects that heretofore were simply too costly despite the potential of changing humanity dramatically for the better. This would completely alter the landscape across the board: allowing innovations in many household appliances; revolutionize the transportation industry as a whole, everything from seagoing vessels to railways and automotive transport of people and goods; and it would raise up the standard of living to make it more equitable across the world.
The savings alone from having free energy, so to speak, would catapult humanity forward in the standard of living overall, because the savings in energy would make much capital available for other purposes and in some cases, a barrier to implementing ideas would be removed altogether. This is up to humans to resurrect and adopt. It will continue to have opposition, but that is not to say it cannot be done, only that there would need to be divine protection in place for those working on the idea and bringing it forward. That as well is a significant challenge because people involved with industry must also be spiritual and at a high level of attunement so they can stand strong and receive the highest levels of divine support and protection to weather a potential backlash from the Extraterrestrial Alliance.
