This would be a good thing to point out for your practitioners. There are two benefits to having eyes closed; one is that it allows more readily connecting intuitively with Creator and seeing feedback when using the prompts specifically to obtain further insight and information about what is bothering a particular client and the phenomena present, but just having eyes closed helps to focus the intention as well. Reading the Protocol itself is a special exception because in that case, the practitioner is focusing on the session itself by virtue of needing to pay attention to read all of the words and pause accordingly at the appropriate spots to witness what happens or allow implementation of the healing even without intuitive feedback. By focusing visually on the Protocol in front of them, they will be concentrating on the task at hand and not have their thoughts wander because they are looking out the window or distracting themselves in some fashion.
So practitioners can do what is most comfortable for them, and it is certainly far better to have eyes open reading the Protocol from a printed page, and attending to the words, and setting the intention to launch the requests effectively than to fall asleep midway through the Protocol, and perhaps have some diminished effectiveness if their subconscious is not filling in all the gaps. In most cases, it will, but it is not an ideal arrangement. So if reading the Protocol with eyes open gets the job done, this has our blessing and will be effective.
