A practitioner’s friend sent him this message in regard to his concern about her channeling: “Thanks for your concern. I will interpret it as a sign to remain healthy, grounded, and balanced in my approach to channeling. Since I am already channeling divine energy through my own consciousness and am in symbiotic partnership with the divine, protection is a given. I’ve had years’ worth of training in shamanism and depending on the work we’re doing, we link with our spirit allies for assistance. Also, my years’ worth of training in metaphysics has given me many personal tools and resources to use in my spiritual work. I am certified through a number of spiritual trainings and therefore am confident in my capacity to ensure the wellbeing of myself and others.” Is she correct or is she still at risk?

Unfortunately, she is only correct up to a point, that she has done and believes in all of the things she mentions, but these trainings, as well, lack rigor in terms of safety precautions. So she is not following the highest and best of teachings in establishing a standard for working in a safe fashion, but in fact is presuming too much of her own abilities, that simply by desiring to be safe and attuning to and connecting with something beyond herself will be of high vibration and therefore divine, she leaves herself open to connecting readily with imposters when it comes to channeling work. It is true that in doing healing, as in physical healing exercises, such an outreach may well be echoed with a divine participation and adding to the energy because the intention is for a divine flow to be established. That is not a danger to anyone because the extraterrestrials will not add their energies to such a request, so there will either be a further divine amplification or not as the case might be, in terms of the intention of the practitioner to invite truly divine energy to join in or confine it to the energy of the healer themselves. But when it comes to wanting a communication with another consciousness, that desire will be seen and will be acted on quickly by interlopers to engage with the outreach and foster a relationship and a long-standing partnership if at all possible. This is how channelers are fooled into believing they can reach divine sources and it is always of benefit and never a harm. The interlopers are too clever to do anything directly to the channeler or to be harsh in any way because they know full well that will be a cause for alarm and the channelers will back away themselves. So by offering loving thoughts and intentions, the imposters will be believed and then will further manipulate the channeler via the deep subconscious to believe in their voice and that the partnership developing is worthy of the investment, and things will proceed from there. Eventually, there will be a downside. In the meantime, the major loss is going to a lesser source and the quality of information received will be of less value. It might well sound good and be uplifting and encouraging but that is not a cure for deep problems or issues, and the channeling will be kept away from addressing deep problems with any kind of solutions that have a chance to work beyond offering hand‑holding and reassurances. So this self-assessment is typical of what you will get from any current channeler in confronting them with a warning, and this is part of the problem—it is not as simple as that. You cannot simply send out a warning that we have discovered that channelers are being duped and this is the reason why and these are the steps to take. They will simply not believe it because they have been cultivated to believe in their sources and beliefs are not readily overturned. The damage has already been done. It will be only rare individuals who are still open-minded enough to entertain the possibility of their personal corruption in a subtle way like this, and then take action to obtain independent divine help to assess things and be capable of receiving an answer. That cannot happen for many who have been corrupted because their intention will not truly hold open the possibility, because their inner bias is so programmed in that the divine cannot go against their free will choice to be subverted and misdirected by the interlopers who got there first and staked a claim.
