It is true that all are interconnected. It is true that anyone's desires and requests will always be heard and given due consideration by the divine realm. But this will only happen when the divine is being addressed directly, and also when there is sufficient belief in us, as well as belief in the self, so that the power of their intention is aligned with respect to these caveats. No matter how great the suffering of a nonbeliever, there is a limit to what we can do to help them, even if they are being tortured. That is because the harsh reality is, by turning away from the divine, they are sealing their own fate and it might well be a painful and devastating one. Even though we would not like to see that happen, we must allow it if that is what the individual’s energies are supporting. We have said many times that an outreach to us will always be answered. The question then becomes, are they really reaching out to us or simply hoping something “out there” can help. That is not the same thing. In addition, if they are reaching out to us but with only weak belief we are real, or a weak belief that they have sufficient wherewithal and spiritual standing to merit a divine response that is robust and certain, we can only reply to a weak extent, energetically. And it might well not be enough for them to see a tangible benefit, at least in the near term, until their faith grows stronger and their belief in themselves improves somewhat to allow bestowing a greater benefit.
It is not so simple as simply wanting something to happen. Indeed, there is always an energy created with any human thought. That power of intention is registered within the universe and will be received and stored within the repository of human consciousness, the collective unconscious, as we call it. That does not mean it will cause anything, necessarily, to take place in response. It will have a certain resonance with other similar yearnings, but that does that mean the divine can cause something in response to happen that will help the originators of those thoughts, specifically. There are many more criteria, as we have outlined above, that must be met in order for a robust response to take place that would be noticeable and satisfying. In the meantime, people may continue to flounder or may stumble along, getting bits and pieces addressed and not yet reaching a turning point when they will feel something significant has been brought about from their previous requests for assistance. It is simply the case that people are more in charge of the process than we are. If they don't understand the rules, if they don't understand their true role in things, and in particular, if they are unaware of their own limitations, they will be still groping in the dark, even if they are reaching for the true light.
So all of this points to the need for more education, a higher awareness of the interplay between the divine and the human realm, and the responsibility of each person to see to their own spiritual strengthening and development, at least with respect to their own intentions launched by thought and desire and emotion. There needs to be a thoroughness and a suitable foundation in place for there to be a powerful response to human requests. That will require human effort and understanding, and some shoring up, many times, on their end to make it possible. This is particularly true because of what has become a long, long, period of neglect by many in society turning away from religion, or perhaps never having been exposed to spiritual concepts. And, of course, the many influenced by today's false New Age Movement providing a phony substitute for spirituality that is embraced all too often, but will never help the person materially to accomplish anything real, in believing they can manifest things through their thoughts alone.
