A practitioner asks: “Why is the physical body needed to ascend? What will happen to it as the process of ascension begins? Will it disintegrate before we land on the New Earth?” What can Creator tell us?

There is a complicated metaphysical explanation for this that is difficult to convey in the absence of the needed vocabulary and understanding of the energetics. There are multiple reasons for conducting the process in this fashion. It has to do with the reckoning of energies and their interconnections to the akashic records as the primary reason for preservation of the body during the transition process. It is also a deliberate strategy to make a visible demonstration of something wonderful happening, unlike anything before, and certainly different from the physical death people are used to having and seeing take place with others. The end result of this is rather than seeing a loss, as with death where the person seems to disappear leaving nothing but a corpse, with ascension you will see a person ascend on a joyous special journey that is clearly a continuation of life, the opposite of a death and transition of the spirit alone.
