A practitioner asks: “Wanting to remember some forgotten abilities like telepathy, I decided to try to remember it through hypnosis, connecting to past lives and the akashic records. When doing so, despite the fact of asking for divine protection before doing this, I felt that we were immediately noticed and targeted by dark beings; this was solved with some Lightworker Healing Protocol sessions but I don’t want to request this again without knowing that it is safe. What happened there? Did I do a weak protection prayer?”

What happened was that you were stirring up some inner fear because you have had past life experiences doing intuitive work that was noticed by interlopers and met with a swift reprisal. Like many people, you have been tortured and killed for using your intuition and it is very common for people to have inner misgivings when they set about doing such explorations and sometimes the mind will not want to cooperate because it is afraid there will be a penalty again and something quite dire and dreadful will happen to them if they cooperate, and so the mind might balk and refuse to convey information or make a connection in the first place so it cannot then be blamed for having done something forbidden in past times. This is simply signaling a need for deep healing work, but that also does not mean you will be able to achieve great success in what you are undertaking here. In most cases, the reawakening of past life gifts will be a reconfiguration to open up a native ability, but this will still need cultivation. There will need to be a long period of practice just as with any skill that is evident from birth. There are very few instances, with the exception of child prodigies, where an advanced level of ability is present at the outset. In almost all cases, there is a natural affinity and desire and a relatively efficient and successful course of learning through practice by taking lessons, and so forth, as in the case of musicians, but much work and practice will be required regardless to exploit that natural ability being imported from past learning because it needs to be reworked and reintegrated into the new being, and all the circuits are not in place, so to speak, to facilitate its expression. That is as much new learning as something that can be simply imported intact and ready to go.
