Again, this is a false assumption that good karma that is given to someone, through the course of healing in the case of an LHP session, incurs some kind of obligation or penalty. The reality is, it has not cost the practitioner anything tangible other than their gift of time and attention to do something as an act of loving kindness for the recipient of the work. What is given through that act, in doing a healing session, is in fact divine love, arranged through the advocacy of the practitioner, but bestowed truly by the divine realm. So the true blessing comes from the divine realm and cannot in any direct way be repaid to the practitioner. That is not to say loving thoughts and gratitude do nothing and have no value, that is simply another act of loving kindness that would always be welcome and would always have a positive benefit when rendered.
The important thing to realize is that this is not something that creates a formal energetic deficit on record that must be satisfied through the Law of Karma, by a repayment in kind, that will hang over the recipient of the blessing until they give something of equal measure. This is most easily understood with the concept of "pay it forward," where someone does a blessing for someone and asks them to simply do likewise for someone else, not to look them up personally and do something for them or give them something of value. That is true gifting without strings attached, without expectations of a return for the self; that is how love that is true will operate, and the true meaning of unconditional love—it does not require a repayment.
In a practical sense, given the workings of the world and your culture, it is nice to pay one's respects with a "thank you" if you learn of someone doing something out of their way to help you that is generous and kind. It is customary to acknowledge it, and this can be done in a variety of ways, including sending a thank you note, and not necessarily trying to match what was gifted but simply acknowledging the good-hearted gesture on one's behalf. So that is a human-level need, and sometimes expectation, and certainly does create a real opportunity to add more love to the exchange with a return gesture of some kind. But that is not the same as having an obligation that is owed, that will stand for all of time, such as with karmic harm to another or to the self which will have to be reckoned with through the Law of Karma overseeing what is taking place energetically, and will see to it on your behalf, or perhaps to your shock and surprise in getting a comeuppance at some time, especially when the negative karma has come from a prior life you know nothing about consciously.
So there is no need to worry about loving gestures and gifting of your time and energies on the behalf of others. That will be noted by the Law of Karma and there will be a reward for you, but it will be coming through the Law of Karma in an indirect way, and not necessarily from the particular individual you might be helping at the moment with something that generates the good karma from the act of loving kindness. That is because the divine is always the source of love and we can bestow love to anyone through the Law of Karma at our discretion, so what you are creating energetically is not a pact with the recipient of your largesse, in being kind to them or helpful or even a dramatic benefactor with a profound healing session done on their behalf, but a pact with the Law of Karma, and that reward will as likely come through the divine realm when the Law of Karma sees an opportunity, perhaps through having a need of your own in the future, and some way to send a reward to you that helps you out greatly. This you do not need to worry about in the details, it is divine business and seen to automatically, but will always be working for the greater good of all and comes out of our pocket and not yours.
