DWQA QuestionsCategory: KarmaA practitioner asks: “My cat exhibits many dog traits I have never seen in other cats. She wants to be close to me most of the time and enjoys my attention to her. She is very loving and often likes to be petted. She expects people’s attention when they come over as if she was a dog. Was there a divine intervention to bring to my life more love and to teach me to be in turn more loving and more caring?”

Teaching is always a by-product of the actions of any creature impinging on another; sometimes it is incidental and unintended; sometimes it is intentional and planned. The major reason for your having this cat is to receive its love purely as an enjoyment and reward for all the good you bring to the world. The fact you are appreciating who she is and how she treats you is simply a consequence of your divine alignment in appreciating what that truly represents, that the flow of divine love is strong within her and she is giving it unreservedly, and even uncharacteristically, with respect to average cat behavior which tends to be more standoffish with occasional signs of affection that are quite transient and unpredictable. So you are truly blessed in having this animal share your life with you and you can consider this a divine blessing and reward because of who you are.
