It is impossible to answer in a simple question the vast array of possibilities and the wide spectrum of circumstances and destinies of humanity as a whole. We have discussed many times that just like the saying, "The Lord helps those who help themselves," it is a truism that humans need to take charge of things as best they can, and that is the way, in fact, to get divine help. Being passive invites us, and actually instructs us, to be passive because we follow your lead and we must use your energy, your attempts at betterment, as the fuel for our divine intervention. Even in the case of miracles, there must be something from the human side, if only a cogent heartfelt request for assistance. We have made clear again and again that to improve your lot there must be an action step you take, that you must go somewhere to get somewhere. That, indeed, is the gigantic flaw in the New Age notion of the Law of Attraction, that you can simply bring good things through your thoughts alone as you co-create your reality with the universe. There needs to be something tangible, some action in the physical, not just a wish to bring about physical consequences that are meaningful, so that is the important take-home message. We cannot give you a specific prescription, as a generality, because this principle applies to every human being in every day-to-day moment of their existence in the choices they make in what to do in response to their thoughts and feelings. It is their actions that will begin to add momentum because they are putting their intentions to work, and that will project them into ongoing reality in a forceful way to make things happen. Far too many hapless individuals spend their lives thinking about what could be but never making it so.
