We have described this in some detail, that those with autoimmune disorders are not really infectious, to thereby represent a danger to others. There can be acute phases with some viral pathogens, like the Epstein-Barr virus, that can cause an acute flu-like illness that is highly contagious, but remnants of the virus persisting in deep tissue stores are not really available to be passed from one person to the next following that acute phase. Where the virus goes and takes up residence within the body will be a function of many factors, genetic and karmic, depending on the trauma history of an individual. That is why a virus might cause more than one type of diagnosable illness and sometimes multiple maladies within the same person affecting different organ systems.
