DWQA QuestionsCategory: Subconscious MindA common phrase in human parlance is “Get Real,” an interesting form of slang commentary that can be both insulting but also highly revealing. Essentially, one party is of the opinion that the other is not seeing reality for what it truly is. Can Creator comment on the notion of subjective truth versus objective truth? Is there ONE truth, apart from the beliefs of the individual, or is truth truly what one makes of it? What can Creator tell us?

In a divine sense, there is one truth, the truth of all that happens, in actuality. That is what is on record in the Akash for everything that happens in the universe. There is an energetic signature applied representing the merits or demerits of the event in question, leading to formation of a belief, for example. If a positive event, the belief will likely be positive or supportive in some fashion, whereas if the event is traumatic and disruptive to the individual, the take-home lesson may well be disparaging, a discouraging belief of some kind, a fear-based or anger-based belief that is formulated in part through emotion, and thus exists, inherently, in being out of alignment with respect to the energy it represents. So there is a multiplicity of levels of truth inherent in the actual experiencing of life. The ultimate truth is what is energetically happening that is recorded dispassionately, but the uniqueness of individual experience is in response to the individual perceptions and that, in turn, is a function of prior history, level of sensitivity, receptiveness to something new happening so as to have a delightful surprise, or an aha moment of revelation where one gains greater understanding from something that happens and is therefore expanded in their perceptions and awareness. Or perhaps there is something of a negative nature that undercuts the self-image, or distorts the perspective of what the outer world is like and leads to a retreat, a withdrawal, or disconnection from interpersonal interactions in being too wary, as a function of that life experience where someone is harmed from an encounter with another, and then feels they must duck for cover when other people come near. That is not the highest of truths in the way they are seeing the world and reacting to negative beliefs based on unpleasantness but, in a sense, it is their truth in the moment. So we would describe this dilemma as harboring a provisional truth in representing a belief that, energetically, is out of divine alignment but nonetheless part of the being, at least provisionally, because beliefs can be modified, they can be changed through replacement with something better suiting the individual and their future, and hopefully something more neutral or even positive. It can go the other way as well where a negative belief worsens and strengthens accordingly, through a repeat experiencing of a similar disappointment or threat to wellbeing, and this will harden the beliefs in the negativity of what was encountered and the likelihood of things being different with a repeat performance. Once someone has been harmed, the sight of their tormentor will likely ramp up even greater emotional negativity and, if such a repeat performance takes place, the beliefs about that individual, and perhaps extrapolating to others, will be darker in tone and more heavily etched in stone, so to speak, because of the repeated assault on the senses. So it is still a provisional belief in being faulty, not because it is unwarranted or an irrational response even, but because it is imperfect, and thus we would say is a work in progress as our goal for all is to surmount the slings and arrows of misfortune and, through healing, return to divine alignment no matter what happens along the way. The reward will be much greater depth of understanding, richness of character, and greater potential to cope with all manner of difficulties, much as a seasoned combat veteran can take much adversity in stride and remain relatively unruffled because of the strength they have gained in weathering the storm before. Intensity of beliefs is certainly important, with respect to the impact they have on an individual, because when a belief is brought into play through a life circumstance, that strength will often determine whether bad things happen or good, depending on the emotional signature it represents, as it will be influencing thoughts and feelings along the way, and thus will have an impact emotionally on a person as well as determining what they will likely do in response to the stimulus bringing up that belief to be acted upon. Thus, faulty beliefs, while provisional, can be rate-limiting and life-determining, and are rightly considered an individual's truth, from their vantage point, even though they are far from alignment with divine truth as an ultimate standard.
