That is a much more recent liability than the very ancient experience you were connecting to, so you need not worry about this—it was not a positive event, but it had a cause that was determined by others and the culture you were a part of. To be outside of and well above your entire civilization is unnatural, and a rare event, and would likely get you killed. In most cases, people do not divorce themselves of reason despite all of their learning, growth, and influences from the cultural milieu they inhabit.
