DWQA QuestionsCategory: Divine GuidanceA client asks: “Whilst my current job ‘pays the bills’ and in some instances gifts me the opportunity to be of help to others which I’m very grateful for, I think that in many ways it is preventing me from developing my spirituality and intuitive skills because I feel so incredibly stressed due to the negative and toxic working environment. I have just recently re-read Creator’s comment (shared during a channeling session with Karl) which seems to support my concerns … “If you work from the heart and through love and desire to spread love to others, you are in alignment. You will find that easier to do if you have financial support in order to devote your time to the enterprise. If you must make a living through conventional means, you will have very little time to be a helper or a healer in a true dedicated sense. This is a full-time demand to become proficient and to do so with skill. You may be able to do this on a part-time basis, but it is difficult and your reach will be quite limited as well.” So, I’m not sure if I should stay in my current role in order to try to toughen up and ‘rise above’ this negativity (and be ‘safe’ with regard to maintaining an income) OR whether I should take the risk and resign and see where the future may lead me so that I can dedicate myself (somehow) to developing intuitive and healing skills and being of service. I feel that I very much want to become a healer, the best I can possibly be, and hopefully even derive a basic income while doing so, but I don’t know if I’m capable of this OR if this is part of my life plan and whether this is how I can be of best service to the Divine. Can Creator please offer any advice and clear direction in relation to this?”

We cannot tell you what to do here, for that is not allowed, as much as you would want us to do so. We can give you broad commentary about how you fit into this schema personally and the potentials that exist for you to play a role in this way. It is up to you to decide the degree to which you wish to move in the direction of becoming a healer. You can sort through the risks yourself and they are real and this is the reason for the hesitation. We do not favor taking risks per se. It is much better to have a plan that creates a bridge between the current moment and a future eventuality when one has progressed to a stage when one can move forward in a tangible way but have a safe landing, in a sense, climbing a staircase where reaching out for something higher there is a step one can reach and find a safe landing and be supported on that higher level with safety and with a sense of accomplishment and a meaningful improvement in things as a reward. To step out without knowing what might be out there, whether the reach to a higher level is too great, and then to potentially fall into an abyss or to fall on one’s face and incur damage in the doing, would be most unfortunate and this is why there is much in the choice of words here to parse a bit, to clarify to the extent we can what we mean by the prior channeling in greater detail. There is always a seeming risk in change, that is why change is difficult for people, because they have learned through hard-won experience that one can fail and sometimes in an unexpected way. Most failures of that kind come from lack of preparation and lack of a deep enough understanding of what one is doing so mistakes are made, often omissions rather than areas of commission, but nonetheless failure is failure and becomes painful and sometimes has dire consequences and, in extreme cases, may be not survivable. We would never suggest people take such risks because there is always a gentler path that can be done incrementally. The tradeoff is time, the time required for growth, maturation, and eventually achieving a state of being where more is in alignment to progress at a faster pace and to move in a bolder way to something new. And this will happen when a foundation has been laid and a bridge essentially built that supports the individual so they will never falter and experience an extreme negative consequence, but only experiencing perhaps some minor delays and setbacks and painful moments that must be accepted, taken in stride, and maybe some healing brought to bear. But will not be rate-limiting, in an ultimate sense, to prevent moving forward again eventually and recovering from the distraction and the level of injury incurred to live to fight another day and surmount the remaining obstacles when replenished, and perhaps reconfigured with new strategies and plans to try a different tack and hopefully win the day. So we are saying there is a path forward here for you, and while not ideal to split one’s time between a full-time job that is an ordinary career, and fully develop capabilities as a healer and learn all that might be needed and develop sufficient experience to do well and to flourish and excel, that does not mean it is pointless to engage at all with such activities. The fact that something is less desirable does not rule out embarking on such a path. It is far from ideal to go through advanced education working full-time and going to night school and trying to fit that in and perhaps do so with some family obligations in the bargain. That is an extreme challenge and will be quite trying, and it carries with it an increased possibility of failure from exhaustion and burnout if not reaching human limits that will prevent an adequate performance level to be successful, and then something must be sacrificed. So we are saying this is not impossible and even though less than desirable, the necessities of life must be provided for somehow, so everyone needs a source of income to support them comfortably enough to not be experiencing distractions on a frequent basis that add significant stress, because a level of worrying and anxiety trying to make ends meet can become quite debilitating over time and this will get in the way with doing spiritual work in service to others. It will become a distraction and will diminish the energy available to be at one’s best. But if the desire is to serve, one can do so in small ways. The tradeoff will simply be a lowered rate of progress in learning and growth from having relatively little experience accrue over a span of time compared to what one could achieve working at it full-time. It is demanding and uncertain to become a full-time healer in today’s world because the majority of human beings are programmed to discount what such an individual could possibly offer in the way of benefits that are genuine. The level of skepticism is maintained artificially through manipulation, so this creates many challenges for effectively acquiring a clientele to do healing work on a paying basis to support oneself in the endeavor. Some are not capable of doing the right things to a sufficient degree to become a successful practitioner. There are many skills required—skills in communication, interpersonal relations, the salesmanship and the ability to persuade people about the reality of what they do and convince people to take that leap of faith to give them money is no small thing in a world of skepticism and great fear as well. People fear not only lack of effectiveness, but feeling victimized and potentially open to ridicule by spending money on something that may turn out to seem like a folly on their part in trusting you, if you do not deliver what you seemingly promise. So it is not a small thing to launch a career with the intent of becoming self-sustaining doing this type of work. It is feasible for the right person with the right combination of talents and skills. That is not universal. It as well can be cultivated and developed through experience, trial and error, as well as divine support with inspiration and encouragement through feedback to help you appreciate when you are on track and give you support and hints by way of suggestion in making the best decisions in how you manage a potential client and their issues. This again is something you will learn by the doing, to what extent you can develop the sensitivity to make you highly effective in the art as well as science of healing, but keep in mind you can accomplish much simply through the Lightworker Healing Protocol which is done entirely by the divine realm utilizing your intention for the betterment of the client as the fuel, so you are not doing any of the true heavy lifting to make changes within the client and effect the healing through your energy. You are simply creating a healing circuit through launching a request and then holding a space for the delivery of the energies to the client through you and what is required is your heartfelt intention for their betterment with adequate belief on your part you can play the role and that things will happen. That can be an excellent starting point and you can branch off from there and it can be done on an incremental basis while you gain confidence, but you will need to cultivate a more detailed strategy to create a presence to get noticed in the world. There are a number of ways of going about this. There are platforms where practitioners can join in an event to have an exhibit to advertise their wares and do sessions on-site, to engage with members of the public who may be drawn to you and what you represent. That will be assisted by the divine realm if you are ready and can deliver the goods. So we can help you move in that direction if you ask for our assistance and, if appropriate to be the answer for someone, we will help send people to you, but again this is something you must grow into by doing, and learn in the process, and grow accordingly. It is then when things are largely in place, we can be involved in the chain of events leading you to work with other human beings on their behalf to assist them. We cannot support you directly by bringing clients if you are not ready. So the hard part is in the very beginning, to reach a state of inner belief and self-confidence and to have the knowing and enough experience to do well in what you are offering. There is always a learning curve and this is true of all professions. You will be inefficient at first. You will make some mistakes. But this need not be a barrier to entry, but only a realization that can help you keep going even if there are a few setbacks along the way. That need not be a determining factor in whether you can succeed. If you want this and move forward, we can help you to bring it about. It is that simple.
