DWQA QuestionsCategory: Channeling PitfallsA channeler we know said he channeled about locating his in-law’s missing TV remote and was told it was in the upstairs of their home. But later, it was found on the first floor, deep underneath the couch cushions. Was it relocated in answer to his prayers, to make it more discoverable?

He has seen intuitively, the answer to this conundrum. It was not a false or inaccurate channeling, but given the nature of the problem and the need to support him and his work, including the belief in validity of the channeling, there was more at stake than, simply, recovery of this item that was lost. The issue then became how to do that without violating the constraints imposed by the rules of engagement to not be leading, and not create a demonstration of something that would too convincingly prove his prowess in receiving divine support. As you know, there always must be room for human doubt so the skeptics have a place to stand, and this surely challenges the believers. But that is, after all, a consequence of human choice also, to be living in an imperfect world. Given this is so, we cannot make life perfect for one group of people over another. There must be a meeting in the middle so people and their choices are moving them towards more and more effective action and choices that benefit them overall and lead to fewer risks and disappointments. In other words, it cannot be done through divine Providence alone, but through a partnership. So that is what happened here, he partnered with us to solve the problem and in the end, the problem was solved even though in a way that might steal his thunder a bit. But this is how we must seek balance in all we do, to serve all the competing needs and obligations of those involved in this circumstance needing divine attention.
