“Breaking the ice” is a phrase in common usage. The online Free Dictionary defines the term this way: “To do something as a means of reducing or eliminating shyness, awkward tension, or unfamiliarity.” So much of persuasion founders on this “iceberg” that the term is quite an ingenious summation of a common problem requiring great skill to master. When someone knows or learns how to “break the ice” effectively, the world is literally their oyster. This is clearly a very important “art of living” skill and lesson that so many people would benefit from mastering but struggle with intensely. What divine insight can Creator share about this common dilemma and challenge?

There is growing criticism of the California politicians in the wake of the massive wildfires underway, from what are seen as poor decisions: Reducing the LA Fire Department budget by $17,000,000 and sending city firefighting equipment to Ukraine; ending forestry management practices to remove underbrush and do controlled burns to lower the proven hazard of dry spells; destruction of four dams in major rivers out of deference to fish populations which lets the water flow into the sea instead of being captured in reservoirs; failure to build new reservoirs that were budgeted for a decade ago; failure to keep existing reservoirs filled so firefighters have run out of water while current wildfires are raging uncontrolled; putting a cap on fire insurance policy costs, causing insurers to pull out leaving many homeowners with total losses; etc. Are these overly harsh criticisms, do they reflect incompetence of leadership, or is everyone being manipulated to make errors in judgment by leadership and others to ignore being vulnerable?

You have told us that chelation therapy helps some patients more than others with restoring better blood flow. Is this because those who respond positively, suffer more from the calcification of arteriosclerosis and there is removal of calcium deposits, compared to those with primarily fatty deposits from atherosclerosis causing their impaired blood flow?

The trial to assess chelation therapy 2 (TACT2) on cardiovascular outcomes in patients with diabetes and a prior myocardial infarction (MI) was reported in September, 2024. While there was a significant reduction in circulating heavy metals following months of weekly intravenous EDTA infusions, there was not a significant reduction in cardiovascular events or mortality. You told us previously that EDTA therapy was actually beneficial, as the first TACT study showed, but that the interlopers were suppressing beneficial clinical data. Is that the reason for the failed confirmation with the TACT2 follow-up?
