We know that all humans are subject to interloper mind control manipulation. And that such manipulation takes advantage of anxiety and passion for much if not most of its emotive power. So it seems the Vulcan pursuit of emotional control was an attempt to gain mastery of the very features of the self that the interlopers take full advantage of in humans, essentially depriving the interlopers of this influence over the individual. How much does mastery of one’s emotional nature and passions, and the ability to successfully cope with and neutralize traumas, protect or even make one immune to mind control manipulation?

The desire to be rid of all emotion can only have its genesis in deep trauma—trauma so deep and pronounced that even love is suspect and untrusted to the extent it is thought best to dispense with it altogether. Why have there been widespread and prolonged lockdowns of schools and businesses which have become indefinite in some states?
