The New York Times reported that a Secret Service whistleblower, who had provided security for prior Donald Trump golf outings in Palm Beach, Florida, said that during the recent assassination attempt, protocol was not followed as agents were not posted well in advance at known weak spots along the fence, where the perpetrator had been hiding for 12 hours. It is unclear also whether there was a routine sweep of the perimeter. Was this apparent lapse in security manipulated to happen?

There is growing finger-pointing about the failed assassination attempt against Donald Trump, and many questions being raised about lack of communication and effective coordination between the Secret Service and local police, with photo evidence the shooter was wandering about the scene for at least an hour before the shooting, and multiple people seeing suspicious activities and even warning the police. A news report says that five rented vehicles used by the Secret Service during President Biden’s visit to Nantucket during the Thanksgiving holiday caught fire and were destroyed. The five vehicles included a Chevy Suburban, a Ford Explorer, an Infiniti QX80, a Ford Expedition and a Jeep Gladiator. So that rules out a common manufacturing defect being a fire hazard. It is bizarre in a number of other respects, such as how it spread from car to car, and only these five, not others parked there. The front ends, and engine compartments of the vehicles appear to have melted, which seems unlikely to happen from burning gasoline alone. It is reminiscent of the many toasted cars in Manhattan that burned on 9/11 even though they were not near the twin towers that collapsed. What caused these rental cars to burn?

A recent cultural phenomenon is the chant or slogan, “Let’s Go, Brandon!” This came about in response to a NASCAR reporter saying the crowd was chanting, “Let’s Go, Brandon!” when in fact, the crowd was clearly saying, “F(**k) (eff) Joe Biden!” “‘F’ Joe Biden!” is clearly a curse, especially if chanted with intention and conviction. “Let’s Go, Brandon!” became code for that expletive chant, and became popular to say in settings where the other phrase would be inappropriate. How genuinely harmful is such a popular slogan to the United States President and his administration?

It was since reported that Google blocked Trump fundraising by anyone using Gmail, and that three major phone carriers, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon all blocked the Trump Campaign ability to send text messages.
