Given you have cautioned us that masking symptoms of karmic maladies with medical treatment can be undone by the Law of Karma, as it is relentless, so symptoms may reoccur or a new or even worse problem might develop, how do we manage this potential complication? Do we just ignore medical options, take our lumps, and suffer, except for whatever divine help can do?

A practitioner asks: “Many people can create a metaphor to represent experience of physical pain, illnesses or other upset. Presumably anyone can invite metaphors to come into consciousness for any aspects of life – health, wisdom, relationships, etc., from their intuition or imagination. To what extent though can the conscious mind alter the metaphor to achieve a significant healing benefit? Coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed after the game that Greenlaw tore his Achilles tendon. As often happens with Achilles injuries, Greenlaw’s came without contact and at the most inopportune of times. The Niners had just punted the ball back to the Chiefs before Greenlaw and his defensive teammates were about to go back on the field.” He reportedly had suffered Achilles tendonitis during recent games, but is that really a normal vulnerability, to have the Achilles tendon just give way, “without contact and at the most inopportune of times?” Is there anything sinister about this?
