His wife never learned of it and was still ignorant of it when he sought Frankl’s advice. Dr. Frankl implored him NOT to tell her. His reason for doing so was because he believed that the man truly loved his wife and had no desire to traumatize her. Based on what he knew of the man’s wife, he was convinced that there was little to no chance of the wife receiving the news without drawing the false conclusion that he did not love her, and consequently would not be able to forgive him. So he attempted to coach the man, that telling her the truth, would be akin to lying, for it would encourage her to believe a lie—that her husband did not ever love her. The man ignored Frankl’s advice, and the result was an ugly divorce with both parties deeply emotionally traumatized. Was Frankl right? Number 50 was, “Refuse to make choice based upon the expectations of others. Instead, act in ways consistent with your purpose.” Out of the 69 reminders, this one, if followed uncritically, could cause a great deal of trouble for a person in this world. Sometimes, not telling someone, like an authority figure, what they want or expect to hear, could be quite problematic. Yet, in the realm of remote healing, it is possible to heal or attempt to heal someone without their knowledge, which would render moot any notion of their consent. Isn’t that dishonest? Can Creator tell us if Empowered Prayer and the Lightworker Healing Protocol are exempt from that concern, and if so, why?ClosedNicola asked 2 years ago • Divine Guidance260 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “When we are conscious of our worthlessness, we naturally expect others to be finer and better than we are. If then we discover any similarity between them and us, we see it as irrefutable evidence of their worthlessness and inferiority. It is thus that with some people familiarity breeds contempt.” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Limiting Beliefs259 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “We associate brittleness and vulnerability with those we love, while we endow those we hate with strength and indestructibility.” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Limiting Beliefs247 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “Patience is a by-product of growth – we can bide our time when it is time for our growth. There is no patience in acquisition or in the pursuit of power and fame. Nothing is so impatient as the pursuit of a substitute for growth.” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Limiting Beliefs253 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “There are many who find a good alibi far more attractive than an achievement. For an achievement does not settle anything permanently. We still have to prove our worth anew each day: we have to prove we are as good today as we were yesterday. But when we have a valid alibi for not achieving anything we are fixed, so to speak, for life. Moreover, when we have an alibi for not writing a book, painting a picture, and so on, we have an alibi for not writing the greatest book and not painting the greatest picture. Small wonder that the effort expended and the punishment endured in obtaining a good alibi often exceed the effort and grief requisite for the attainment of a most marked achievement.” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Limiting Beliefs243 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “The impulse of power is to turn every variable into a constant.” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Limiting Beliefs317 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “It is clear that a society in the grip of fear, is not free no matter how numerous the freedoms its constitution guarantees. There are already many people in this country (America) who would surrender certain of their civil rights for a feeling of personal security.” What is Creator’s perspective?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Limiting Beliefs257 views0 answers0 votesHoffer wrote: “There is perhaps no better way of measuring the natural endowment of a soul, than by its ability to transmute dissatisfaction into a creative impulse. The genuine artist is as much dissatisfied as the revolutionary. She posted a video yesterday and it already has 6,000 likes! Different in tone from her usual expansiveness, rather somber, she’s addressing the topic of having to be aware of the dark. Her guides told her that millions of humans will die in the coming time and she has to tell her followers that they are here to transmute evil and have to learn to see it, not look away, keep their hearts open, be courageous, stand steady, etc. And not insist on love and light all the time.” Is she corrupted?ClosedNicola asked 3 years ago • Divine Caution401 views0 answers0 votesA client asks: “Could you please kindly answer my question about next steps—what might be more effective (and, thus urgent) now: to pay for another session for myself or to pay for a session for my brother (if ever possible without his awareness and consent)?”ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Lightworker Healing Protocol321 views0 answers0 votes
