So much so, that when invited to a pool party with an above-ground pool only five feet deep, and with him being over six feet tall, he still would not go in the water, but was observed to keep himself well away from the pool’s edge. What can account for this man’s deep-seated phobia of water?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Karma292 views0 answers0 votesThere is a martial artist who has six black belts in six different disciplines. Once when asked “why,” he replied, “others golf, this is what I do.” But another time he was overheard complaining after practicing with weapons (wooden swords and knives) that he simply couldn’t stand “being vulnerable” as he put it. This from a man with six black belts. Can Creator share what trauma has clearly fueled this man’s lifelong obsession with self-defense?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Karma286 views0 answers0 votesSaving money is wise, more often than not. But when it becomes an obsession, it can result in a number of issues. Hoarding is one of them. Some people will buy an endless string of used goods if they are cheap, but whether the item purchased is even needed or useful, is a secondary concern. To the extent that such a person is convinced that saving money is good, arguments advocating moderation seem to fall on deaf ears. Can Creator comment?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Karma306 views0 answers0 votesSpouses throughout the ages have noted that they are rarely listened to. A spouse might observe that a window where a spouse is trying to grow some starter plants lacks sufficient sunlight, but is utterly and even violently ignored. But when a neighbor who is anything but a botanist points out the same thing, the plants get moved right away. Even though people have more mobility today, we seem to be isolated more than ever. People have fewer and fewer non-family guests than ever before. Common sense appears to need common inputs from multiple people. Does excessive privacy and isolation impair common sense?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Karma302 views0 answers0 votesWhat happened to Naya Rivera, who went missing while boating with her 4-year-old son on Lake Piru, in California? Was she and her son abducted and taken to Bohemian Grove? Or was this an ET abduction or a drowning as suspected?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Karma350 views0 answers0 votesA Fort Worth, Texas, a woman was shot and killed through her bedroom window by a police officer responding to a neighbor’s call stating that her front door was open. His bodycam recording showed he looked around in the front through the doorway, and garage, and without announcing his presence went around to the back yard. He saw her in the upstairs window, ordered her to show her hands, but immediately fired his weapon. He’d failed, apparently, to make any warning announcement that he was a police officer on the scene. Was she holding a gun, perhaps fearing there was a prowler in her yard? What factors led to this death, and what are the karmic consequences for those involved, including the next-door neighbor simply wanting to be sure she was safe?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Spirit Meddlers311 views0 answers0 votesThe Alachua County Sheriff’s Office says a 41-year-old man, Craig Brewer, was shot and killed early Sunday at a Waffle House restaurant in Gainesville. Deputies say that Brewer was paying for some customers’ meals and ‘passing out’ $20 bills to other customers when the shooting happened. A female customer reportedly got into a verbal altercation with Brewer because he did not pay for her meal. 25 year-old Ezekiel Hicks was said to be at the restaurant with the female involved in the altercation. So, Hicks then also began arguing with Brewer. At one point, Hicks exited the Waffle House on his own and armed himself with a 9mm Glock pistol. Upon re-entering the Waffle House, the arrest report stated that Hicks approached Brewer. They became engaged in a physical altercation, which only lasted a few seconds, as Hicks soon fired multiple rounds into Brewer. Why was this man handing out money, and why was his antagonist wanting to kill him?ClosedNicola asked 4 years ago • Karma404 views0 answers0 votesA woman in an Arizona chronic care facility who was in a vegetative state for years just had a baby.
