In the same band, there was arguably the best lyricist (Bob Dylan) with the best vocalist (Roy Orbison) and the best producer (Jeff Lynne). The fact even one of them could find time in their schedule was miraculous, much less all of them. All of them without exception effused about how truly wonderful the whole experience was, how all were friends, how all worked together seamlessly and without friction or jealousy, and how nearly all considered it one of the greatest if not the greatest thing they ever participated in. And these were all ultra-successful musicians—titans of the industry. The first album went triple platinum. It was literally a tsunami of good karma and a miraculous coming together rarely seen in this world.
