Dr. Viktor Frankl said that when all choices have been removed from a person, the one choice remaining that nobody else can dictate is their ability to choose their ATTITUDE. If so, it appears this would be true for both humans and angels, and in fact all sentient beings; and while the choice can be influenced by others, it cannot be MADE by others. Would that extend to the realm of prayer as well? In other words, no matter how much we pray for God to change someone’s attitude, this will remain something God will always refuse to do in a free will environment. So the divine can change things that influence the choice, but not the choice itself. But once he reached the outside of the building, he stayed there and took cover. Instead of ordering deputies toward the building, he called for a school lockdown. More deputies arrived, but hung back while the gunfire continued in the school. Cruz was able to walk out of the school unhindered but finally was arrested on a nearby street. In hindsight, the ineffective actions of the authorities came under criticism.
