The advent of the Internet, and the more recent widespread adoption of smartphones, has really changed the dating scene, and most men and women would agree it’s not for the better. A recent experiment had a male set up an attractive female profile, and it generated 20,000 matches in a just a few hours. A similar reverse experiment set up by a female thinking she could prove there was a level playing field, generated only a few dozen matches to the male profile she created, in the span of an entire month, and none of those turned into an actual date. The female experimenter reported feeling completely dejected by the (for her) shocking outcome of the experiment. Women are overwhelmed with attention, and men largely report feeling almost completely invisible. What is Creator’s perspective?

In New York City, it has been observed that dating apps have enabled many women to establish different kinds of categories for men interested in them. A study reported in the New York Post revealed that 33% of women confessed to going on dates just to get “free food.” They even have a term for it, namely, a “foodie call.” Some women have a full address book of men they can call not only for free food but free home repairs, car repairs, shopping trips, travel, you name it. The women have zero intention of ever getting romantically involved with any of these men. All of these men are in the dreaded “friend zone.” What is Creator’s perspective?

Sixty percent of college graduates today are women. Women are increasingly filling managerial roles and displacing men in numerous professional occupations such as law and medicine. Men, by and large, have no issues “dating down” and entering relationships with women who earn much less than they do, and who are even unemployed altogether. Whereas, the opposite is almost never true for successful women. Overwhelmingly, they hold out and say yes only to men who make as much or preferably more than they do, who are taller than they are (or at least not shorter), and more “successful and worldly,” however they might personally define that. The result is that more and more women are chasing fewer and fewer “qualified” men. They are literally pricing themselves out of the dating market. What is Creator’s perspective?

The dating scene is especially problematic, and even deeply traumatic, for single mothers of all ages. With the divorce rate above 50%, along with the huge number of births happening out of wedlock, it’s reaching the point where more children are being raised by single mothers than are being raised by married cohabiting biological parents. Overwhelmingly, most single men, and more often than that, the more desirable single men, want nothing to do with a single mother. Men, by and large, would rather not raise another man’s children and need to be really incentivized to do so. This is a problem that just seems to keep getting worse, not better. We’ve already probed the problem of dating for successful women, but it’s especially difficult for older successful women (and older women in general). This is so because the majority of successful and compatible men their own age are either already in successful relationships or choose to date much younger (and therefore more attractive) women, sometimes decades younger. As a result, many of these older single women are desperately lonely and find themselves making do as best they can with women friends and even pets. Except it seems a great many women misconstrue genuine narcissism for confidence. From his perspective, he has almost endless numbers of attractive women literally lining up and competing for him, so he has little incentive to treat any of them as special. This composite character even has a name, specifically, “Chad Chaddington.” Chad might literally date more than one woman in the same evening, sleep with most on the first date, and never consider committing to anyone. As a result, he leaves in his wake scores of “alpha widows” who can never get over being spurned by Chad and who therefore have a hard time finding any other “beta” men attractive. A viewer writes: “I just watched your recent channeling of Dick Sutphen… I read one of his books, HEART MAGIC, (1992) which is several metaphysical short stories – and couldn’t believe one of the stories is called “The Other Lindy”, and it seems very similar to a part of my life!! The story is about a woman, named Lindy, who goes to a tarot reader (which I’ve often done and am familiar with tarot cards). Anyway, Lindy is going to Madame LeFarr because she’s in love with a married man, named Daniel and wants to know if he’ll leave his wife, etc. At one point in my life, I, too was in love with a married man named Daniel…and wondered the same thing. Madame LeFarr tells Lindy that she and Daniel had a past life during the Civil War, and lived in Maryland – I thought that too, (before I’d read the book) that (current ) Daniel and I were together during the Civil War, in a border state, probably Maryland. In the story, Daniel goes off to the War and Lindy (or whatever her name was in that life) cheats on him (and I think I even know who I cheated on him with…someone who I had a relationship with in this life) It all has a sort of Gone with the Wind Vibe – me as Scarlett O Hara, Daniel as Ashley Wilkes, and RC (a former boyfriend) as Rhett Butler. Anyway, in this current life, I think the karma has worked itself out … Daniel and I were married in that Civil War life; I cheated on him and he could never understand that or forgive me. In this life, he’s married to someone else and cheated on her! (with me) and so now he’s more able to understand that previous life/my cheating on him. When I read the story in HEART MAGIC I kept thinking it was ME that Dick Sutphen was writing about … somehow he tapped into my life, past and present.” Is there any deeper reason for the seeming coincidences here?

A practitioner asks: “A question for Creator, it’s been on my mind since I had Covid just over 2 years ago. The Disclosure Webinar triggered my curiosity again in asking if I was targeted. The strange thing is, just before I had full-blown Covid, a smell I can only describe as a “rotten decaying smell,” only outside in the air, not inside my house, car, etc. No one else could smell it, only me, and only, as I say, outside in the air.
