The demonstrations seem well-organized, highly charged, and police have commented that in some cases at least, almost half the protesters are not students at those campuses. The demonstrations are becoming increasingly violence-prone. Of the demonstrators at George Washington University who were arrested recently for fighting with police, only a third were actual students. Jewish students are being confronted and menaced.
